Philippe Chevarin - Les Sentinelles 2019
Grapes: Melon de Bourgogne
Red fruits jump out of the glass, the palate is jubey, full of blackcurrants & ribena. There’s also some rhubarb, a touch more savoury than the previous vintage. Fine fruit tannins, red fruit crunch, fluid and highly drinkable.
100% Gamay, whole-bunch partial carbonic maceration for 7 to 10 days. Elevage on lees for 8 months.
