Join us as we head down to the Dirty South of France!

Charlie will be taking us on a tour of what Languedoc, Roussillon and Provence have to offer. With everything from pure fresh rose to light reds and dark, dirty Carignan! 

 

Hosting the evening will be Charlie Simpson, the mad prophet of natural wine. As an avid disciple of organic viticulture and minimal intervention during the height of Parkerism, he was considered a heathen and cast out of Australia. He returned roughly 10 years ago, importing and selling natural wine well before it became popular. During my days working in a city wine shop, I would often see him standing on the street corner screaming "the end of conventional wine is coming". Few listened.

EVENT DETAILS

Our wine tastings finish at 8:30 pm. They sometimes go a little over but we try to have everything officially wrapped up by then and let people hang back and chat if they like.

In terms of food we serve snacks but not meals. The snacks vary for each event. It is quite common for people to head next door to the bar for dinner after a tasting. 

Tickets are non-refundable but can be exchanged for credit up to 7 days before the event. This can not be done closer to the event as we order wines for the event based on ticket sales.
