Del Parral - Pisco Acholado
Region: Pisco / Peru
Variety: Quebranta / Uvina / Italia / Torontel
Pisco is a grape spirit from the region of the same name in southern Peru. In contrast to brandy such as Cognac, the spirit is picked at the same ripeness as you would for a typical wine and is usually unaged. Another difference is the strong focus on single varieties.
Produced from a blend of grape varieties. Fundo del Parral pisco Acholado is made from the blend of Non-Aromatic grape varieties Quebranta and Uvina grapes and Aromatic grape varieties Italia and Torontel. Predominant aroma and taste like blueberries, almonds and anise. Slight flavour traces of spices and dry fruit.
